Disclosure: TindaGo is being developed by IdeaLaunch, the same company behind Bislig Today.

TindaGo is a sales and inventory tracker built specifically for Philippine sari-sari stores and small groceries, not a generic cash register app repurposed for the local market. It is built around problems specific to small Filipino retail: tracking stock across multiple locations, scanning products by camera instead of requiring separate barcode hardware, and keeping working even when the internet connection drops.

What it does

TindaGo uses camera-based barcode scanning against a shared Philippine product database, so a store owner does not have to manually enter every item by hand. Stock movements are recorded on an offline-tolerant basis, meaning sales and inventory updates still get logged even without a live internet connection, then sync once connectivity returns. Billing runs through GCash, and every sale gets written to a digital sales logbook designed to keep an honest, tamper-resistant record, the kind of paper trail many small stores currently keep, if at all, on loose paper.

The system also includes a merchant referral program: store owners who bring in other sari-sari stores earn a commission, paid out directly to their own merchant wallet.

Beyond groceries

While the initial build targets grocery and sari-sari store operators, the underlying system, tracking products, stock, and sales across a shop, is the kind of tool that applies just as well to other small service businesses: laundry shops, water refilling stations, hardware stores, and similar operations that manage inventory and daily transactions but rarely have software built with their scale in mind.

Where it stands

TindaGo is in active, advanced development, with a working merchant dashboard, barcode registry, and referral system already built. A public launch city has not been announced yet.
